Often times, if you have coasters too small that the mug is larger such that water condensation drips off the side of the glass wall and directly onto the table. The biggest beer mugs you have will fit perfectly on this coaster.

WHY USE ABSORBENT INSERTS IN THE COASTERS: Iced drinks often sweat, with the moisture collecting on the silicone coaster.
