Knowing you can do a job is one thing, but articulating your own skills and experience can feel like pulling teeth for even the most accomplished, credentialled individuals.

This is largely because we don’t want to seem ‘up ourselves’ (apparently the biggest social faux pas of all) and it’s holding us back.

It’s also ridiculously common, with almost 80 per cent of people reporting not feeling very confident when talking about their skills. More than a third (37 per cent) of respondents put this lack of confidence down to feeling like they were showing off (even though they could sing the praises of workmates and friends they admire ’til the cows come home).

To help us overcome our addiction to downplaying, skills trainer and success coach Kirsty Ferguson and confidence coach Alison Shamir are hosting an amazing Masterclass Online session thanks to our friends at SEEK.

They’re going to talk us through how to identify, demonstrate and confidently talk about our skills in a job interview or work setting.

During our Masterclass you’ll learn:

  1. How to give your confidence the boost it needs to chase your next career move
  2. How to identify skills you may not even know you have
  3. How to confidently talk about those skills in an interview
  4. How to maintain and build confidence in your career
