We are excited to announce that Shelley Knisley has joined Armoire as Head of Customer Success and Sales. Based in Seattle, Shelley will drive revenue growth through prospect outreach, improve customer retention through management of our Member Experience team, and activate our brick-and-mortar boutique as an event destination. Her remit will include policy management, experimentation in customer lifecycle optimization, and the cultivation of a culture of service and continuous improvement.
Shelley brings extensive experience across sales and customer success to this role. Most recently, she was VP Sales, US for UK-based event tech startup Glisser. Shelley started her career in the event tech space as a Client Success Manager with Cvent where she was part of the global expansion of their operations in London. Shelley built her sales muscle with CEB, a talent management consulting firm, which was acquired by Gartner.
Consistently, the building and maintenance of her professional community has heralded career success. As the co-lead of the Seattle chapter of Ellevate Network, a global professional women’s network, Shelley was co-hosting an event at Armoire, which quickly led to a career opportunity after spending more time with founder and CEO Ambika Singh.
“I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with a leadership team composed entirely of women,” said Shelley. “Coming from the enterprise SaaS world, this was hardly the norm. Armoire represents a great opportunity for me to learn from leaders innovating in making fashion more sustainable, and to identify with customers who love experimenting with style.”
Shelley has already orchestrated several activations of Armoire at events–including the Puget Sound Business Journal Women Who Lead Summit and Hyatt Regency Seattle’s Embracing Equity panel.
