Former Amazon retail and logistics expert named Armoire’s Chief Operating and Merchandising Officer

We’re excited to announce that Sanober Mukadam has joined Armoire as Chief Operating and Merchandising Officer. Based in Seattle, Sanober will focus on strategic inventory investments, inventory lifecycle management, and supplier brand relationships. Her remit will include building on the product experience to help customers save time and always have a fresh, curated closet, the development of a B2B technology solution for broader apparel industry players and business model innovation for partnerships with designer brands and retailers.

Sanober is a retail/e-commerce veteran and brings extensive logistics and operations experience to this role. Sanober spent seven years at Amazon managing multiple retail categories, and most recently, led global labor planning for the Amazon Logistics Flex Business. Sanober also boasts operations experience at Groupon and Citadel Investment Group, as well as enterprise risk services and audit expertise at Deloitte & Touche, where she began her career. After Amazon, Sanober was Head of Product at Swyft Technology, a last-mile logistics startup, prior to joining Armoire.

“I’m excited to bring my years of retail, ecommerce, and product experience to a tech-forward retail subscription business,” said Sanober. “In the broader fashion ecosystem, Armoire stands out in its sophisticated technology and curated experience for customers.”

Sanober has been an Armoire member for over three years, and has loved experimenting with styles outside of her comfort zone or beyond her typical price point.

“I’m motivated by the vision of providing access to fresh, new items without having to commit for the long term,” said Sanober. “I believe in the mission of making styling easier for any woman at any occasion.”

A strong proponent of women’s ambitions, Sanober was a member of women’s leadership initiatives at Amazon, Groupon, and Deloitte & Touche. She is currently a member of Chief, a network connecting and supporting women executive leaders.

We’re thrilled to have Sanober on board and to tap her experience and skills as we continue to provide limitless style and personalized recommendations to take the guesswork out of getting dressed.
